Plants Database
A great resource for finding edible plants can be found on the Plants for a Future website. Plants For A Future is a resource center for rare and unusual plants, particularly those which have edible, medicinal or other uses. They promote organic permaculture with an emphasis on creating an ecologically sustainable environment based largely on perennial plants. The organization also offers an extensive plants database searchable by many different criteria, including region and various uses (edible, medicinal, ornamental, nitrogen fixer, wildlife attracter, ground cover, etc).
